GED

We partner with Chester County OIC to offer GED classes, preparation, and testing both virtually and on-site at the PA CareerLink of Chester County in Exton, PA. For individuals who were unable to gain a high school diploma, our GED program will help them get ahead. These services are completely free!

Training

We offer training opportunities in your desired field. Some examples are on-the-job training, paid work experiences, paid and unpaid internships, job shadowing, and certification courses. Professional experience is your greatest tool and asset in your search for a career, and your chance to build it is here!

Education exploration

We offer education exploration services to help you find the best path for your future. Our advisors assist you in searching for colleges, vocational schools, and certification programs tailored to your interests and career goals, as well as assistance with financial aid and scholarship opportunities.

Career Services

At Career Corps, we’re dedicated to helping young adults find a fulfilling career through personalized advising, engaging activities, and job readiness support. Our advisors offer one-on-one sessions to explore your interests, develop standout resumes and cover letters, and provide interview preparation to boost your confidence.

Career Exploration

Looking to kickstart your professional journey? At Career Corps, we help you achieve your career goals through tailored mentorship programs and career exploration activities. We can also connect you to apprenticeship opportunities in your area of interest. These experiences will enhance your resume and teach invaluable professional etiquette.

Work experience

During this phase, we’ll guide you through career exploration activities, goal-setting, and place you in a work experience in your interest field. This might be an 8- week Paid Work Experience, paid or unpaid internship, or job shadowing experience to ensure the career you choose is fulfilling and the best fit for you and your goals.

Job search

Are you job-ready but need assistance finding the right fit? We connect job seekers like you with local Chester County employers and help prepare you for the application and interview process. We will guide you in reviewing your resume and cover letters, prepare you for even the toughest interview questions, and guide you in your career journey for up to one year after you’re hired!

Supportive Services and Incentives

At Career Corps, we believe in empowering you every step of the way on your academic and career journey. That’s why we offer extra perks to keep you motivated and focused on your goals! We are able to financially support our clients when they face barriers, such as helping with transportation or childcare costs while in training or work experiences. We are also able to assist with work clothing and tools, background checks, educational testing, and more. If there’s any support we can’t directly provide, we’ll refer you to other programs or agencies that can assist you.
